Why must we be afraid?

What lies within us is not real

Yet it is the truth

A creature lies within

Eating our conscience

From the depths of our mind

Warping our reality

Into darkness

From a meadow of endless possibility

To an alley of closed minded negative thoughts

Where the monster within

Has just murdered

Another of its many victims
