The Face of a LifeA Poem by UniversalSeanReading Tim O'brien's books in high school, I was inspired to write this. The Face of a Life does not breathe,
It Exists. The Face of a Life may only be alive when viewed, But shows no light when there's nothing to prosper. The Face of a Life died in a war, Which will always be fought in the mind of a boy. The Face of a Life never dies, But rather placed on reserve to tell stories unheard. The Face of a Life shows no love, Except for the loved ones who've been rid of. The Face of a Life fulfilling a purpose, Not for the cause but for the need. The Face of a Life does not breathe, It exists. © 2013 UniversalSean |
