Nature and I

Nature and I

A Poem by UniversalSean
"

My perspective on reality and its effects on me as well as how my girlfriend at the time plays a role in it.

"

I stand on this ground but less than a millimeter. And yet for too long, I am still blinded. Years go by without me even realizing the purity always near me. The purity She gives me. I am nothing but corrupted by the environment artificially created around me. I am dying carelessly but seemingly blissful. Killing myself and ridding everything I once was and born to be, all by the hauntingly false message, typed up by the most corrupt bacteria that I am forced to believe from birth. The lines read each year all seemed so steadily blurring away until She, the original source of what this natural planet and even the holy heavens and all beautiful morality idolized has to offer, saved me.

Though my body was still moving and barely breathing, possibly the last of the green and yellow vines of this world found me and my dying wonders. And with its silver blue eyes, my sight, heart, and soul was grasped like a spell casted by the wisest master illusionist. My eyes, ever so blinded and destroyed by the fake and corrupt, were illuminated once again. Enlightened by what I once believed to never fit true, became true. I felt love, not for what I’ve always imagined, but for what is!

She then pointed me in the sole direction of light itself. And there I saw it. Behind the leaves and tree branches, which have suddenly arised in a world that was nothing but manmade concrete and poison, was the sun itself delivering true bliss. True innocence pouring within me, clearing the black smoke in my lungs, becoming able to breathe and not only barely, but indefinitely live again! As I felt the suns searing comfort and warmth on a ground so cold, I began to be lifted even further by the vines that lovingly found me worth saving. She lifted me higher and higher. Beyond the lively leaves and the thousand feet of tree branches. Farther than the tallest mountains could touch the most alien sky. And faster than the aging power of time itself. She showed me everything a joyous lifetime could ever offer and more.

She did so with such affection and care that no hell or demon could even touch. I was taken to the shining sky, where no darkness could ever see me. I was bathed by the cleanest river only cleansed by angels themselves. I was even gifted with everything I could ever ask for, including everlasting love, for no other reason but sheer kindness. And was welcome to stay in Her very own loving arms, even infinitely past my dying day.

With such a blessing given to me by Nature itself, I vowel to always return the favor as much as a mortal man could possibly give. I will always carry Her roots to the Garden of Eden and cleanse them every day with the holiest of water. I will feed Her with my life’s worth of attention and serve only the best of my strength and will. And I shall always show Her my forever lasting love, even if the pitch blackness of this world drowns me again.
