Dare I Even?

Dare I Even?

A Poem by Juliet
"

--

"
It matters not,
Who crawls in and out
Of my bed
Day after day,
Snuggling next to me
Night after night.

The scenery remains,
But a separate face
For each day of the week.
Personalities ever changing and
So much that could at one point
Have filled this heart of mine.

Yet I am so empty and
My torch carried for love
Extinguished by an unknown
Source that drives me to
A sense of longing,
That I have never felt before.

Without love,
Dare I even exist?

really enjoyed this. an intermingling of love, lust and companionship. the lines are blurred in misunderstanding and meaning is lost in the deep sense of longing and emptiness. well done :)
