Rambling and Disappointed

Rambling and Disappointed

A Poem by Juliet
"

New turn of events, disappointed Lambi. :<

"
What did I honestly expect to find here?
Was it satisfaction,
Or to not let the flame die?

I killed it myself and
You relit it with a new spark,
Set her eyes on fire instead.

I'm so disappointed.
The questions I asked didn't harbour
The answers I'd hoped for.

It was a thing, and it was happening?
Love, why didn't you just ask?
I was all yours.

This is like a fine piece of dark chocolate, somewhat bitter but ever so sweet.

sometimes asking questions is not the best thing to do, a true relationship commands silence and understanding, so that you always know what the answers will be. But sometimes dialogue helps to clear up all the misunderstandings and reignite the spark of true love.. Well written poem .. I loved the ending stanza specially..

I dont think love can ask any questions, it just forces answers. Sometimes they just arent what we expected to hear. This fire behind your eyes certainly does create some powerful poetry though...

Leads to many questions...
and to a silence within.

We can only assume -
even when we know.
