Its always painful when someon we care for no longer feels the same. This piece is nice because it has a very sincere feel to it, and its almost as if the authoor is just stating a fact instead of harboring resentment. But it also has a heartbreaking undertone of rejection, and loss. It makes the reader feel for the speaker.

Not harboring resentment, I'm just sad that I've hurt someone unintentionally and it ruined everything. :/ They don't want me anymore over something I said, ended pretty damn badly. It was a bad reaction to what was supposed to be playful banter. I never meant to cause any harm, just get their attention.
