I Should Have Never Loved You

I Should Have Never Loved You

A Poem by Juliet

I sit once again,
Behind this desk.
It holds me up for now,
Keeps me smiling, as if I mean it.
I'm honestly trying
To forget I ever loved,
Trying to forget what
We were made of.
Having it all figured out
In my head
Is a useless notion and
Has left my heart dead.
You, the one I longed for
Never gave a s**t, let alone two.
That's why I know in my heart
I should have never loved you.

Sometimes we pick the wrong person to give our heart to, but in the end it only turnes into fule for further creativeness. You turned this horrible experience into a powerful piece of poetry that speaks volumes in a few short lines. Be strong and keep writing, it will see you through this.

Edges are what we live on and with...
and dealing takes time.
