It doesn't really matter now.

Took you no time to move forward

You didn't just move on, but w***e-ward.

Took my heart on a trip,but

This time it came back with me. 

May as well have stomped it

With your boot

I feel as if your feelings

Were always moot.

Maybe I would've been better off alone. 

Now all I can do,

Is sit here and dream

Of how I thought things were, 

How they never turned out to be.

I'll forget what it's like to kiss

Those lips of yours eventually,but 

For now I can only cringe

As these tears sting my eyes. 

Memories as real

As the day they were born.

Such a sad song,

For such a sought after goodbye. 

I'll always miss you and

I know you'll be just fine.

I was such a joke,

My heart the "punch" line.

ohh wow girl he really broke ur heart huh? the emotion is so real, I can feel ur sadness and pain...I myself am going thru a hard breakup so I knnow exactlly how u feel, just know ur not alone : ) the last two lines hold so much sadness and humility in them...I'm sorry he hurt you

This is great. I like the title and well it fits this read. Excellent ending and I like the new word I learned "w***e-ward"...Nicely done ^^
