Lack of StrengthA Poem by JulietConcept of someone dealing with anxiety caused by other peoples' anger.
I feel a sickness coursing through these weary veins,
A poison so potent my heart may fail. Lethargy returned from the cage I kept it locked away in, Anxiety shaking my fragile core. I curse the day I heard their voices raise, Coming home to an angry, post-battle war zone, My hands, they tremble with the ferocity of a sickly addict, And I couldn't be more sober.
