Fictional Lover

Fictional Lover

A Poem by Juliet
"

So as it says.

"
Silence is broken by the click as the door's latch opens.
You walk me in, just like a gentleman.

I can feel your eyes all over me,
As I'm the prey of this particular day.

Your hand grazes the small of my back
Ever so gently as we make our way

In your dark maze,
To your sanctuary, so welcoming.

Chills of anxiety and lust race;
Coursing through my entire being.

We won't tell a soul we're here.
Turn off these lights and pray

That slumber finds us,
Soon enough.

Once this conquest is through,
Our bodies thoroughly weak.

Together we fit like a puzzle,
Fatigued, content.

In the morning I'll carry on as usual,
But for now I won't have to sleep alone

And there are no strings attached.  =)

This is very well written and I did like your emphasis on certain words. I also like the way the story flowed, filling in all detail. Excellent work..xx
