Impatience

Impatience

A Poem by Juliet
"

As it seems.

"
These lines of impatience
I scribe for song.
I write for art.
I draw for nature.
Should they hurry themselves to my doorstep?
I would be overjoyed to feel their warmth.
Let them find me.
With hurried footsteps and grateful smiles,
They'll open their arms as I will mine.
Overtaken with harmony,
I will smile in my sleep.

"Should they hurry themselves to my doorstep?" beautiful personification. I loved the imagery.
