In the Heat of Summer

Crystalline pools inspiring the feeling

of such a deep cool and we all know 

that this calm will never last. 

Serene hues of the tall grasses hold the

Chirps of the crickets and frogs.

The sun falls beneath the horizon 

Yet I still find my way from the light in your eyes. 

This is summer and we are the love. 

Just because the heat of the season will fade

Doesn't mean that ours has to.

Great ending again. Really nice. Love how you say 'we are the love', instead of 'we are in love', ties together the sounds and colors of summer with your sounds and colors, uses the transience of nature in a beautiful way. Love it!
