Give me something to drink.

Give me something to drink.

A Poem by Juliet
"

----

"
I'm certain you never meant
to inspire the longing in my heart,
just so.

That unbearable lust for your presence
falling short as your absence permeates
my being.

Everlasting intoxication, only a drink
from the fountain of my memories
of your face.

Oh, how I thirst.

Longing...could taste it.
BTW...that's my middle name...longing...
Perhaps you'll have a drink soon....cross my fingers for you.

Man that was powerful and left me thinking about my recent flame with which I've spent five long years with only to have it end. Very nicely written and strong. And I loved the title it peaked my interest. Can't wait to get a chance to read more of your words.
