No Fairytales On Repeat

No Fairytales On Repeat

A Poem by Juliet
"

Trying to get a feel for the Bukowski style, no I don't actually smoke. lol

"
Coffee in one hand,
Cigarette in the ashtray, smoldering
away in billows of grey poison.
Though, I'll sit my coffee down and smoke it anyway.

My mind races day and night, and i know
somewhere in your mind is me,
and you.

My lungs are dying,
My heart is dying,
We're all dying.

With you would be a much nicer way to go though and I,
I pace, alone in this apartment, knowing that at the end of a fairy tale,
There's no repeat.

As a smoker this is fairly accurate. Cant stop thinking so ill smoke another, but now the coffee is gone. The end of this has a very bleak feel to it, though that fits for the Bukowski style. I always liked the question, "Who would want to be such an a*****e?" in that song by modest mouse.
