[untitled]

A Poem by Tigran Avoundjian
"

short and sweet

"

fireworks explode in your eyes
when winter sings its sad sad song.
butterflies burst from your fingertips
when spring cradles you in her arms.

fly your kite high above the rest
and kiss the sun like icarus
when you come tumbling down
my arms will be wide open to catch your ashes
and mend your broken wings.

however.... why do you keep it 'untitled'??? this could have a fantastic title to it.... which would only add to the piece, i think.

fantastic. really really well done; i'm impressed

"butterflies burst from your fingertips
when spring cradles you in her arms."

love that - and then the allusion to icarus, and the way you carry it through to the end.

this is a beautiful piece, my dear. sorry it took me so long to get to it. thanks for sending it my way :)

hugs
