Cloudy Days

Cloudy Days

A Poem by Tigran Avoundjian
"

more old writing restored

"

On cloudy days the children lie

On their backs and look at the sky

One sees an airplane

One sees a boat

Two lovers holding hands

See Cupid with an arrow and a bow

An Italian man sees a boot

The English see a castle with a moat

I used to wonder how and why

These people see so many things in the sky

And then I looked up

And saw a fluffy white cloud

That looked like a big soft pillow

And now I understand.
