The Dance of Love

The Dance of Love

A Poem by Luke Morris
"

A dance with God and Adam before he bit the apple

"
We danced a dance of love my son...
Before the universe was slowly hung
We Danced and loved till we could love no more
I created, I made, for... for...
You
Only you
I saw you needed someone to love
Someone that fit like a glove
So I knocked you out
Removed you're spine and without doubt
Created the most beautiful creation of all
If only you didn't fall
You two would have protected it all
But Satan with his tricks
Summoned a serpent to do some licks
Tumbled the world with nothing but an apple
Made the world nothing but a skull
But you and me son...
Through the carnage he created
Though the walls are closing in
I know you're claustrophobic
I hope you don't get sick
We will still dance a dance of love
