Gout Long Term can cause Neurodegenerative Disease, Effects, Smaller Brain Volume and Stroke.

A Story by Ed

Gout is being unstated as a major culprit of brain damage since most websites dont state how it can and does cause major damage to soft tissues. Found some medical literature stating how important it is to keep uric acid and gout at bay. If gout has a lacerating/cutting effect on surrounding tissue then this would mean that sodium urate and uric acid can have damaging effects on brain tissue including the blood brain barrier.
