Old Familiar Feeling

Old Familiar Feeling

A Poem by The Unforgiven
"

I can sense that old familiar feeling
Creeping up behind me
The one that drags me down
Why can't it leave me be?
It's icey talons driving doubt, fear and lonliness into my heart
Without a trace of remorse
It goes about it's gruesome art
Makes me look inward
Makes me hate myslef again
Makes me feel so worthless
And then the nightmare can begin
Shut out the world
And long for the razor so cold
Feeling weak and so alone
To this demon my soul is sold

Depression is a cold sneaky b***h..very much like an "obscurial"... a dark clouds of everything wrong & ruthless..coming to try to rip out our heart...but light drives this evil out.

This one is fun (to read).

Nice imagery here. Dark. Tense. But no edgy bullshit.

Bravo.

You left me with no words to tell how good this poem was. You have truly described the feelings. I loved it.
