Mistake

Describing my biggest regret

It seems like only yesterday
When I was where you are.
How can something so seemingly close
Actually be so far ?
I have no choice but to wait
Where has all of the time gone?
I must stay in this mental state
Until I can prove myself wrong
A road through the rough
A path that's not on the map
This time Ill endure more
Nothing will make me snap
It's an all or nothing chance
It's a test of real and fake
I can't believe I let it go.
I have made a mistake.

Unplanned, letting out pieces are usually the best, closest to the heart and after your internal mess is over you look upon your piece and wonder who wrote it.
