Beauty

Beauty

A Poem by UnderINK
"

Where beauty can be found.

"
Beauty is in everything,
It's the light beside your bed.
It's the sheets across your body;
The pillow beneath your head.

Beauty is in everything,
It's the prayers before you sleep.
The wind that whispers in your ear,
And the secrets that you keep.

Beauty is in everything,
It's the dreams that sing to you.
The way you'd come to me at night,
To let me cradle you.

Beauty is in everything,
It's every truth you've told.
It's in all the things you've promised me,
It's the way you stop me cold.

Beauty is in everything,
It's the way you look around.
The way you search for answers
To things that can't be found.

Beauty is in everything,
It's in the way you speak,
Flowing like an angel's
That always makes me weak.

Beauty is in everything,
It's the pain that stabs your heart
For there's nothing beating next to yours,
As you tear yourself apart.

Beauty is in everything,
The tears that flood your eyes.
Let me kiss you one more time,
Before I say goodbye.

Beauty is in everything,
Like when you cried alone,
Seeing that I wasn't there--
I wasn't coming home.

Beauty is in everything,
And has blessed you most of all.
You will always be my angel,
And I'll never let you fall.

Love it =]]. The last stanza is my favorite, personally. Good rhythm. I'm not entirely sure I really like the repetition with "beauty is in everything", but it fits well, so I'm not really sure. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
