My Silver Bride

My Silver Bride

A Poem by Undeadjem
"

I wrote this for my wife; she's a Goddess to me. I read it aloud at our rehearsal dinner. I used similar descriptive words towards her on my poem, WInter's Reign, as well.

"
I
My feet
weary
many paths
I’ve wandered
sought
ever-long
was our fate
bore

starless nights
sunless days
gloomy thoughts
silver mist
of winter

in the mountains
at night
a sudden light
thunder
lightning
you’re clouding my thoughts
beautiful as
blue and green
stars

II
Your eyes
shining lamps
crystal hues
gems
upon silver thread

your voice
music
your face
bright as diamonds

a winter mist
on a silver sun

a beauty of
all things
under twilight

III

In a frosty heaven
I shiver
the pain of waiting
for time to pass
a permanent delay
I could guess

vague
ocean tides
without your touch
your actual

touch

IV

Complete
a spell
an unbound set
of love

I hope for
infinite time to share
like the
sun
and the
moon

by the fire
I’ll wait

for you
