Fading Angel

Fading Angel

A Poem by Fluffy Senpai

She sits on the balcony,
looking at the stars,
they all seem so very far.
Her eyes look so blank,
she is lost.
Her wings once white,
are now gray,
slowly starting to fade.
Soon they`ll be black,
another memory of the past.
He was always there for her,
but he left,
along with the others.
Her skin,
once a dark soothing color,
now starting to go white.
Giving up this fight,
she can not see the light.
That forest once so ever green,
now ceases to be.
She remembers,
blue skies,
green grass,
where they used to play,
now fades with every day.
He said he`d wait for her,
to get her wings,
then he`d come back.
But he lied,
thousands of years have past,
still she sits there,
tears in her lap.
She will sit there until he comes back,
even if she does forget the past,
he will remain,
embedded in her brain,
this is where she remains.

Some people tend to forget how much they mean to another person. Then, they end up hurting the other in more ways that the person can imagine.
A great poem, perhaps it may even relate to some people. Sad, but unfortunately true to many people in the world.
