Looking Back At The Old Life,In A New One.

The smile,
I hold,
Is hard to bare,
For my sake,
I grind my teeth,
To hold the scar`s.

Still I cry,
Myself to sleep,
At night,
Thinking about the memories,
The pain,
Abuse.

But still I look to the future,
More smiles,
More laughs,
Less tears,
Less fears.
The shadow of the day,
Will soon decay,
Though living with the memories,
Of the past,
Will make me strong,
A better person,
For the world,
And the life I lead.
