The Wedding’s Over.

(INTRO)
Sonorous the funerary chime…
Now’s the time -- The bride’s adorned in white!
A box of pine and a time worn stone…
Procession for a funeral.

Bouquet and internment wreath…
Vows exchanged beneath a downpour of dead leaves.
Honeymoon, but a plot in the backyard…
‘Til death do us part!

(V-I)
Bearing gnarled diadem…
Mascara running from your eyes down to your chin.
Turnip lanterns blankly stare…
As dead leaves collect in your hair.

The scent of wax hangs upon the wind…
Carrion birds squawk as if angels singing hymns --
Whilst cornfields, golden, ominously sway…
Upon this, our wedding day.

(PRE)
When the wedding’s over, let the funeral begin…
The earthworms are calling and they want your skin!
You’ll always be as beautiful as the day we were married…
Because it’s gonna be the same day that you were buried!

(CH)
The wedding’s over.

(SOLO)
(PRE)
Dancing, a dwarf toss and a feast…
Flower girl strewing peddles in front of a pedo-priest!
Cake and champagne, oysters with casu marzu cheese…
Enjoy it, My Love, for you’ll soon be deceased.

(CH)
The wedding’s over.

(Bridge)
My love hasn’t bounds…
I’ll love you always, even when you’re under the ground.
Now with this ring I be-wed…
Welcome, My Liebchen, to the kingdom of the dead.
