A Tough Cookie

A Tough Cookie

A Poem by Igor Kalish

One fine Summer day at dawn
Mr Cookie crossed the lawn

Sun shining, a pleasant breeze
It's so nice to be outdoors
Suddenly, the Cookie sees:
Overhead, a seagull soars

Mr Cookie yells: "Oh my!
Will this be the day I die?"

Quickly running home, he hid
in a jar, and left a note:
"No kind cookies under lid,
I'll bite back!" - That's all he wrote.

That would certainly encourage me to keep my hands out of the cookie jar! Refreshing diversity always makes my day. Thank you for the ear to ear grin!
