A Tough CookieA Poem by Igor KalishFunny Children's PoetryOne fine Summer day at dawn
Mr Cookie crossed the lawn Sun shining, a pleasant breeze It's so nice to be outdoors Suddenly, the Cookie sees: Overhead, a seagull soars Mr Cookie yells: "Oh my! Will this be the day I die?" Quickly running home, he hid in a jar, and left a note: "No kind cookies under lid, I'll bite back!" - That's all he wrote. © 2019 Igor Kalish |
