A Poem by Uncle Buster

Stories

Johnny, tell your sad story,
The one of mother cooking
Fried chicken the day your
pet rabbit "disappeared."
Susan,let's hear about
your brother who's innards
Stopped working and
How many pennies he dared to swallow.
Nedra, if I had one like yours I'd
Shout it from the rooftops
Like our sins will be.
Come on, Bob,
Don't be shy with yours.
I love to hear how you gave
Yourself a toilet swirly,
The world spinning around you
Upside down,
            and you couldn't breathe.

What can I say? I like cheese. I'm a cantankerous old git. (should git be capitalized?) By the way, I'm a bad speller - no, a creative speller. Yeah, that's it. more..
