Fear Eats Soul (No Limit)

Fear Eats Soul (No Limit)

A Poem by Una Xoto

I scattered smoke throughout her nest
books slipped with shodding straw & discarded
 tissues of  paper
the dormouse nosed up pieces of the sky
inspecting the traces of larvae, the mildew ghost
of cocoon to membrane
given enough time I could easily suffocate her swift escape
given that time granted me in turn
 the precious moments to elude

the shadow consuming my own tender tide

Rather cryptic took me a few pleasurable reads before i could begin to grasp understanding but even before i caught onto the intelligence. I love the dark and merciless feeling that is present in the piece, a powerful and thoughtful considerate for human life. Dark. loved it
