Surprising Change

Short Story

Ashley is a 25 year old woman that is homeless because her mother and father passed away and left her with nothing. She sleeps on the streets and sometimes in Homeless Shelters, she eats out the garbage and takes a wash up with water when ever she can find a grocery store. She begs for money from strangers every day but most of all she begs for the love of her older sister that hates her. Ashley Knocks on her sisters door everyday, but her sister Ava ignores her because she doesn't want another woman around her husband

One day Ashley walked up to her sisters home and her sister husband kelvin answered the door, He stood there in shock as he sees his sister in law standing in front of him dirty hungry. He calls for his wife and when Ava sees Ashley she yells and screams and tells her to get off her property and never come back and slams the door in her face. Ashley walks away crying and feeling weak when she collapses from dehydration 

Fast forwarding two weeks later as Ashley is laying in the hospital bed she opens her eyes and looks towards her right and sees her sister Ava laying in a hospital bed. Ashley jumps up and demands to know whats wrong with her sister, Ava husband turns around and tells Ashley that her kidneys are failing and if she doesn't find someone to donate her a kidney that she will die Ashley jumps up and says I will give her a  kidney, despite the way her sister treated her she was willing to save her life. Ava wakes up and over hears the conversation looks at her sister Ashley and tells her she  would die a happy woman  instead of receiving anything from her sister. And she did just that a month later, Kelvin moved Ashley into his home and got her a job as a receptionist three years later they got married and had two kids together....The End
