Hit the Ceiling

Hit the Ceiling

A Poem by ~Unashamed Love~

I managed to get out of my skin

And float above it all

There’s not much left WITHIN

I may have lost MY SOUL.

ALL that’s keeping me conscious

IS an eternal field of green

Making me dizzy, nauseous

Disgustingly obscene.

My memory is not as good

But I like it that way

Life is S**T, so is my mood

And what I am today.

Your words convey such awesome emotion and anxiety... A deep feeling of lostness... From my own history I could relate too well. Brilliant write!
