For one Night

For one Night

A Poem by Aka.Hipster

Although no you’re not the one I love,

For tonight you feel an awful lot like home,

While I can help you warm up the sheets,

There is no room on this shoulder to lean,

Leaving before the sun mocks my shame,

I carry a wild heart that only he could tame,

Fun for one night but forever your Jane Doe,

My soul feels cold against these brittle bones.

I hear the sadness in this poem, a heart weeping inside missing the person he/she used to love and wrapped his/her world around him/her... The last line speaks of heartbreak...

Sincerely
Dhiman
