Chapter 14

Late-ly, I've been, I've been losing sleep,

Dreaming about the things that we could be, but-

Baby, I've been-

"Ah, the zombie lives." I sat up. I was in the woodshop. Except, nothing was there. Just the floor, ceiling and walls. I didn't see Emily, or Collin, or even Keva.

"Katie, seriously?" I said seriously, more like srsly.

"What? I like the song." I turned around and saw Katie in her performance clothed. Black shawl thing over a white T-shirt, or white something. Black pants. I looked down at myself. I had on a white, collared T-shirt with a black tie, and black cargo pants, what I usually wear to my recitals or concerts. Or in this case, a psychic talk.

"Well, I didn't what your range was, so at least now I have an idea of how far you can go." She waved her hand.

"Nah, I can go across the world. Note: if you ever get a chance to look inside someone's head, don't look into a perv's. Nightmares, I tell you." 

"Well ,wasn't planning on it. Anyways, you wouldn't be here if there wasn't something urgent. Spill," I said.

"Geez, your good. Rumor has it been that you had died and all that crap. Because I'm here, I can safely assume not."

"And who said I died?" I didn't want to assume Collin too quickly. This coma may have looked liked a legit death.

"Collin. He said he couldn't find a pulse on you. Neither could Keva or Emily. She's also been crying her face off." The music stopped.

"Do you know where I am right now? I think I've been out for a long time. When did Collin get back?"

"Well, I'm guessing that you are in my head right not, and-"

"Katie, you know what I mean."

"I do? Oh yeah, you're probably still at the school. And Collin came back about a day ago." Explains why I'm starving.

"Wake me up. And tell Collin that I usually prefer my corpse to be buried near my house, not in this rat infested school."

"You got it." The floor beneath me fell, and the song continued again.
