Haiku

Haiku

A Poem by Uesugi

One's life like blossoms,
expressed with vibrant colour,
returns to the soil.

Now, a most wondrous Haiku, blessing us with imagery and words of life and reuniting with our source … all in spot-on metre, introduction, moment, and perfect ending.
A question came to mind that when I learned the Western interpretation of the Haiku form, it was to be expressed without capitalization or punctuation … just comparing notes.

Uesugi, I bow in most humble gratitude for the generous pleasure of sharing another of your beautiful poems! ⁓ Richard
