all you needed to beA Poem by UdismantleMea poem about peer pressure i guess
You think that you’re a failure That you’re not good enough All because you’re not like them And being deferent’s rough
And so you sit there crying Sobbing all for you Because you just depend on them But their smiles just aren’t true
So shatter all the mirrors And step on all the glass Cover up and make up And try not to be outcast
And every time you see your self And see what you’ve become I hope you see that your still that girl Who wasn’t like every one
But now you’ve chosen not to be Who you really are You’d rather be the s****y girl And the football players car
And when every thing is said and done Is that really you The girl who’s finally fitting in But still inside so blue
There’s no way to turn back time And so you’ve lost those years Instead of living life with friends You’ve spent it with your fears
And now that it’s all over Tell me, can you see That every thing that you really were was all you ever needed to be © 2009 UdismantleMe |
