Another masochist...one of emotion. Rather a personal experience, if I may say. The one who contradicts themselves endlessly...
The paper runs wet against my Fingertips As I smile Looking at my new friends Cut out with scissors An umbrella protects my skin From the roaring water drops Falling The cold flood tickles my toes In the porcelain bed Red rubies blossoming On my hands My friends Torn apart Their white wrinkled pieces Scattered on the tile Anger written on their blank faces Blood dripping gently From the walls My beautiful friends Made of white paper soaked On my skin Dead So they can leave me be The water touches my face And a tear rolls down my Cheek And a smile across my Lips The plastic of my umbrella Brushing against my paling face My kingdom of floods The sink running red Dripping And my tub of solitude Overflowing And I laugh at my perfection Tearing the head off Of my friend Cutting out another one Who I will Love The last floating away With my perfect World of Blood
This is artistic and wonderful. Beautiful expression of emotion, and I love that it's one of those poems that will mean something different to everyone who reads it.
whoa, lots of crazed intensity in these words.
is it weird that I really like this piece? hmm.
anyway, it's very well written, fluid, and you've described it all so clear and vivid.. truly tho, it is the emotions and state of mind that stands out the most from it
I'm not quite sure I got the same thing out of it as everyone else, but I still thought it was a marvelous poem! It, like the last review states, really does catch your attention. I also loved the word choice. You always write such amazing poetry that I almost find mysterious in some ways (but it's a good thing when I say it :3). Great job, friend! Never stop writing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this poem! A very complete and thought out piece. Wonderful word choice, very descriptive without being too much. This a really great and inspirational idea! So creative! Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.
