Gemini

Gemini

A Poem by Anonymous
"

I like the constellation Gemini. It inspired me.

"
As the morning freezes your hand
It soon drifts into a languid afternoon
The day becomes so slow and bland
Finally, from the depths, emerges Moon

Even if we are across the world apart
Our hearts remain in sync with this melody
Embrace the warm rhythm so it won't depart
We are the connected sides of Gemini

A broken-winged bird had followed me along
It rested its little tired head and I said to it,
"When your crying is over, lets sing a love song,
One that your worn heart will never forget."

Even if we are across the world apart
Our hearts remain in sync with this melody
Embrace the warm rhythm so it won't depart
We are the connected sides of Gemini

When you're alone, don't you ever cry
Just take my hand and we'll find the lost path
With our joined hands we could start to fly
Let there be love where there once was wrath

We are the connected sides of Gemini

TO CLARIFY: I don't know about others, but I pronounce Gemini *Jeh-mee-nee*.
Just to clear up the rhyming.

I pronounce Gemini differently, but for some reason my pronounciatin made it sound even deeper. As if you didn't need to rhym to make this a poem. You made it a poem by the beauty that it radiated. Sorry for the cheesy review, but this was very pretty. I loved it, and now it is in my favorites.
