I know I might've not been helpful lately
Or your life maybe isn't going good
But when you say you're going out
To clear your mind of all the stress
When you feel better...
Please come back home
I promise I'll change
I promise I'll be there
Your life will be easier
Maybe if I wasn't making you angry?
Or sad? Stressed?
Will you at least call me when you leave?
Or tell me how you are?
I can change myself, really
I'll change to make you come home
I know I might've made you angry lately
Or your life is getting too hard on you
But when you say you're leaving
To clear your mind of everything
When you feel better...

Never change yourself. Ever. I love you just the way you are. Like I told you, I had nowhere to go so I had to go back home even if I didn't want to. Thank you so much for helping me, Jessa. (By the way, you never made me angry. You did the exact opposite). You're always there for me and I really appreciate it. This is a great poem. Well written :)

I remember feeling the exact same way when my ex left me. Then my now husband found med helped me find myself again. Don't hold on to the past so hard you lose your future. My ex and I had been together for 4 1/2 years. My husband and I for more than a decade now and still going strong, with a beautiful little girl.
