Stay AwhileA Poem by UbiquitousPlease dear, stay awhile. Stay while I untangle my stomach from yours, You seem to have taken it with you. While we are at it, can I have my smile back? And you seem to have found yours, It is making me miss mine so. Please dear, stay awhile, Maybe we can talk like we used to, You can trace and decipher the lines in my hand, I won’t even yell at you when you tell me my life will be short. I truly wish to laugh again. Stay, You may never know, But I sincerely miss you so © 2012 UbiquitousReviews
