The Carousel

The Carousel

A Poem by Ubertod

The carousel spins endlessly

            All horses up and down

Hear laughter from the joyful child

            Crying from the clown

Night falls – the carousel lights go on

            They're dancing as they shine

The peaceful feeling it portrays

I wish that it was mine

The music plays so very loud

            Masking all the pain

The carousel turns in the sun

            But also in the rain
