Lost

Lost

A Poem by Kent Rawski

I'm as lost as a penny
in a wishing well
If i will recover
I cannot tell
It has given me
a great start
To know
Im not whole
But part
I've found to
Live life
You must start
At a point
And then increase
Your radius
To allow more in
In this way
You can see
where you have been
All the grasping
of experiences of life
As of sounds
in your mind
And you're listening
For one thought
To bring silence
To your life
To make sense
Of all of this
But your life
Wont allow all of this
I pray in heaven
to find it bliss

Good write. On the "featured review...." Cilberto's an a*****e who parrots "how to write poetry" books.

He's not exactly wrong. But he's really just another d********g pretending community college is real talk. He's basically an "intellectual" commercial.

… a grain of salt. A really, really big grain of salt.

It seems to be true, that we search for our meaning all through out our lives to find that there is none. Only that our existence in itself is exactly what it's all about. In some ways, that can make us feel merely a part, and in other ways it allows us to feel a sense of wholeness. I really enjoyed your poem Kent, it gave me much to think about and from different perspectives too.

Very beautiful poem about being lost. Sometimes it is good to be lost so you can find yourself again. c:

Yeah, sorry about that.
I'm sure heaven has all the quiet and reflective time anyone will ever want or need. I'm looking forward to some of that myself.

We all get lost and struggle to find ourselves. This is an excellent expression of that reality.

This is my life right now.
Feeling not lost ,but not found...
Isolated from energies for other people's drain me down.
Like a broken clock stuck in time.
Myself, with patience , I seek and I shall eventually find.

a narrow road is no way to make sense of life....i think we have to expand the number of lanes both coming and going...our opinions and those opposite the yellow lines...and hopefully we can blur those lines together....and be content with others who don't feel the same about things as we do.
bliss is in understanding and showing understanding to others.

Stop caring what other people think! You are who you are. Find it. And embrace it.
