A stirring of yearning

A stirring of yearning

A Poem by Kent Rawski
"

Expressions from within

"
What brings sorrow to my eye,but the loss of thoughts brought to demise, what causeth tear to fall, but each thought ner be sought to its own call, selfless alone to its own fate, nor can any ever emulate, words of grandeur, depth of tone no one ere did own

There's something very romantic about the old English style of speaking.
Beautiful poetry. Or would this be considered prose?

so Shakespearean! makes me take me time reading so to absorb the full effect ;) thoughts are easy aren't they ..but the actions to accompany ..quite another story ... unique form you chose to put this in ... looking at it i am like ... hmmm two lines of prose!!! what can it hold??? but reading ... it really has all the lines of poetry .. you just strung them all together ... unique and creative .. love the depth of theme and the archaic language ..you took a bit of a risk says i ... but it does work!

Carry on with your business
but each thought net to be sought to its own call .....
So sad. Seems like such a waste, bright thoughts left alone to their own demise, and we mourn our lost thoughts and broken expectations.
Heartening but lovely

'A stirring of yearning'
Kent Rawski,
We live within ourselves a world apart. It is a place of memories and feelings, realities from our own life's beginning. Your above poem seems the song of these contents coming forth to your mind-heart. Oh, that they may find life and fulfillment!
Loved it.
Blessings,
Kathy
