Winter Chill

Winter Chill

A Poem by Wanderer

It’s winter, and it’s quite harsh
Don’t know how long will it last
Showing its effect all over
As the night approaches, all run for cover

The air is quite thin
Like people who are mean
Thick clouds are over the sky
Birds finding it difficult to fly

Sun is playing a hide and seek game
Not basking in its fame
Trees are losing the cover
Looking sad like lost its lover

The days of Fall. Watching the earth go to sleep till Spring. I liked the way described the changes. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome.
Your winter chill comes across as just that. Not my favourite time of year. Not much warmth in anything. You convey the mood well.
