Guide it With a Touch

 

Today look upon this reflection

And carve out everything that

Means anything worthy of a touch

And sacrifice it to the sun.

 

This is revival.

This is salvation.

 

This is freewill’s alliance

With nature and its parts.

 

Here is everything

And here is nothing.

 

End what was something.

End it.

What you see may not be worth it, but

Somewhere someone is.

yeah
it is kind of a downer
but that's not
derrogatory
because this
seemingly simple selection of segmented stanzas
[yo alliteration gods kiss ma a*s]
contains so much
and the reflective tone
is unlike you
- your work is always thought-provoking
in some form or another
but not as quietly as this
if that makes sense -

why the italics on 'a'
