Tiger Misses Yous

Girlfriends and lovers come and go in my life but me and my cat miss them all

She sits on the bed remembering when it was sun

That kept her spirits up not the things I do

Not these crazy crazy things I have done

But I forget that what I do, I also do to you.

You just wait until I sit down here on the bed,

Look you in your eyes and stoke the back of your hair

Only to let my thoughts wander instead

Treating you like you weren't even there.

We miss her like we miss the sun on cloudy days

Or the stillness in the wild windy climes

Just like we miss them all and will for always

For this one is gone too just like the rest of the times.

Why the hell my Tiger pal, don't they stay?

I thought it was just a phase but it's getting old, I must say!
