I Really Wanna Know Why

I Really Wanna Know Why

A Poem by UC Poika
"

We must be flowers for it seems we grow best in God's manure.

"

Everybody hates me with some degree.

I must have eaten something disgusting.  Way?  Hey!?

I could help it get worse or try to change history

So it wasn’t so popularity conscious.  No way?

My generation wanted to change the “wor-erld.”

Well, it changed.  Guess what?  It’s just about the same.

Everybody chooses who and what to be, in what’s swir-erled,

Causing a matrix in everyone else’s game.

We got laid a lot and thought it was ’bout love.

We thought fighting over fighting was peace.

We found out we’re just one under the heavens above,

And, there ain’t no way out even if we cease.

For me to say God loves us is a damnable lie

Without he kills every one who’d kill me.  But why?

UC Poika
God said, "I am who I am." He did not say, "I am who I am that you want me to be." But I figure, knowing God the way I do, they meant they were who they were and that they knew what was best for us, as if we might have an interest in that.

According to what happened in the Bible, and this is only my take on it so don't go getting religiously angry at me, God first disapproved of what Cain did, (Killing your brother is evil.) Then God killed all of the Israelite enemies and even utterly destroyed some places. (Let me do it for you.) Then God sent his son to say, "Don't have any enemies." I'll kill them!" Is killing your enemies less Godly than having God do it for that last statement stupidly tries to make our enemies and his killing them our fault. Unlike Adam and them I wasn't born yesterday. I met at least one car salesman in my lifetime. I know God by default. How does that change the world, or help me know why? It doesn't for its either not doable and not real, or its real and we really can't do anything about it. Just try changing the world you idiots, it won't work. God won't change reality and become someone else for anyone, even Jesus, even if he did die for the privilege. It may have proved he's God but that only makes him largely unlikable in reality. Now damn it, you all, God included, don't go killing me. Who do you think I am, Jesus?
