I Really Wanna Know WhyA Poem by UC PoikaWe must be flowers for it seems we grow best in God's manure.
Everybody hates me with some degree. I must have eaten something disgusting. Way? Hey!? I could help it get worse or try to change history So it wasn’t so popularity conscious. No way? My generation wanted to change the “wor-erld.” Well, it changed. Guess what? It’s just about the same. Everybody chooses who and what to be, in what’s swir-erled, Causing a matrix in everyone else’s game. We got laid a lot and thought it was ’bout love. We thought fighting over fighting was peace. We found out we’re just one under the heavens above, And, there ain’t no way out even if we cease. For me to say God loves us is a damnable lie Without he kills every one who’d kill me. But why? © 2014 UC PoikaAuthor's Note
