I am not Physical

I am not Physical

A Poem by UC Poika
"

Ever feel aloof to this world, like your arms and legs and even brain aren't really yours but like protective gear in a radioactive tank.

"

It was like a bird in a cage and I set it free
Or the taste once in a shattered bottle of wine
Or a poem I wrote that didn't belong to me
After all was said and done it wasn't mine
The mind of this brain is not something I own
A blank page or an empty monitor's light
It's more like a field in which alfalfa was grown
Not the sort of thing a keyboard can write
I have no arms no legs and an alien's brain
For I tell it what to think and sometimes it does
And others do it too but mostly they just refrain
And it comes out  as something I found just because
I don't belong in this world like a beautiful bat
But like God who knows where I'm from or where I am  at?
