Unknown, Believed, Known, Imagined

Unknown, Believed, Known, Imagined

A Poem by UC Poika
"

The nature of thought.

"

Before us there was that we never knew
Or interacted with in any real way
Then there were the gods we thought so true
For with belief great powers came our way
For even in error there is much to belief
With the ultimate God; one that never is wrong
With power and consistency without any to match
Then there is that we could know on our own like the throng
But then there is what we imagine which must remain
Only in imaginary places where thoughts are key
To finding out the depths of others so vain
Some think they are gods unlike you and me
But that which is best thought should not even be said
And the key to thinking is better off done when live and not dead.

A very beautiful poem. *"finding out the depths of others so vain..." "the key to thinking is better off done with live and not dead." Pretty heavy thinking there.

There is that humanity never encountered in its entire existence. There is that it heard of but never knew and never knew whether to believe it was even there. There is that which we must believe to interact with. There is that we can only know if God is real and believed. There is that we can only know because we are human. There is that we say but leave undone. There is that we think and even leave unsaid. There is that we imagine that must remain in the imagination. There is that thought about those who are dead and/or don't think at all. I think that's it; the entire list. Thanks for asking I just thought everyone knew that.
