MY HUMAN

MY HUMAN

A Poem by Tyrean_m

My human is weak and built on vanity.

Fueled by admiration, applause and validation.

My humans body style, manipulated.

Trending on man’s approval.

Bumper worn from rejection and ostracism,

My human is tired.

My human runs slow.

Never built for horse power, but made to run like one.

Never built to devour attention.

The very thing that fuels my human.

My human’s engine slurs and splutters.

Leaking from maltreatment and rough handling.

Her value decreased.

Not what she was once worth.

My human has been broken by the disorder of society.

Not of any use and no longer recognizable

I exchange my human’s scrap parts for wherewithal,

My human is no longer.

She will not be remembered,

Her use was merely practical.

A interesting and ironic dehumanizing or unhumanizing perspective to separate your body from your self/ cognition.

It is obvious that you have a very good vocabulary and you understand their usage, as well a philosophical side. I believe every poet writes about their own mortality (I know I have) and you have approached it with mechanical description that most men would appreciate. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of reading your work.
Take heart, anyone can tell you how good they are if no one else will do it for them and never worry about criticism from someone who has nothing posted to prove that they can write and know more about it than you. Quote finders and the use of a search engine can make anyone sound, well you know just read the comments below.

A interesting poem. It is sad with age. We seem to become less human.
"She will not be remembered,
Her use was merely practical."
I feel this is a world problem. When the world is controlled by wealth. The poor folks are forgotten. Wealth forget the human needs. Profit is the goal. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Made me think this evening.
