MY HUMANA Poem by Tyrean_mMy human is
weak and built on vanity. Fueled by admiration,
applause and validation. My humans
body style, manipulated. Trending on
man’s approval. Bumper worn
from rejection and ostracism, My human is
tired. My human
runs slow. Never built
for horse power, but made to run like one. Never built
to devour attention. The very
thing that fuels my human. My human’s
engine slurs and splutters. Leaking from
maltreatment and rough handling. Her value
decreased. Not what she
was once worth. My human has
been broken by the disorder of society. Not of any
use and no longer recognizable I exchange my
human’s scrap parts for wherewithal, My human is
no longer. She will not
be remembered, Her use was
merely practical. © 2015 Tyrean_mFeatured ReviewReviews
