Iguana the turtle

Iguana the turtle

A Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon
"

A poem about how laughter can save lives. Probably the most ridicules thing I've ever written, ever. So it's a must read, especially if you want to make fun of me.

"
Let me tell you a little story,
If this is dull, then I'm sorry.
But please, let me just tell you
This story is a 100% true.

A long time ago, in about 1984.
robots and machines ruled galore.
The human kind had been enslaved.
Because the robots did not get paid.

The machines woke up and took over.
The humans begging for a four leaf clover.
each missile launched like an arrow
There was also a turtle, with a 70s afro.

The rain of blood from the sky.
Many fish will soon die.
The turtle's name was Iguana
and he thinks he's a piranha

The end of the world is here.
A line we've all had to bear,
Over and over for a hundred times.
The turtle has just found some dimes.

There was a man, with a big gun.
But all he did was pack up and run.
His friend, with a bigger beard.
To be honest, he's a bit weird.

His friend's name was Tim.
Or was the name Jim?
I don't know, I forgot.
The turtle is now in a parking lot.

So Tim raised up his arm.
and yelled,"We will come to no harm!"
Everyone called him crazy,
some also called him lazy.

The evil wizard, from the ship of sails.
Wait, those are different tales.
Where was I? Oh yes Jim.
He was quite slim.

Jim the slim got a tank.
I dunno how, ask Hank.
He told me this part,
while playing darts.

He drove the tank into a wall.
What do you expect? it's his first time.
Oh s**t, that line didn't rhyme.
Can I bribe you with the turtle's dimes?

Jim died in the impact of the crash.
His body turned into potato mash.
That makes me slightly hungry.
Maybe I'll get something with curry.

The robots laughed over and over.
Until they died from humidity exposer
The humans now live once again.
Laughter saved their bacon!

. whoa! ... my head's spinning ... the twists and turns in this tale ... are sharks and eagles and the blue whale ... it's some mind you possess ... but wait i mustn't digress ... this was written like a blizzard ... what else can one expect from a wizard ... and i thought it was crazy enough to be named slowly ... after someone's pet tortoise who was rather holy ... here i am speechless and more ... wonder what else is in store ... :D ...

I think this was cool. It came from vivid imagination. Sometimes I think like this and well I laugh at myself. I don't think people should make fun of you for that. It came from something you were thinking. I think some of the poem was funny though. It made me smile. Thanks for sharing. :)
