Divine Chains

Divine Chains

"
Tied with divine chains.
Supposly offering salvation
Fear gulps my tiny veins
from the eternal damnation.

My eyes blinded by the mist of confusion.
My limbs tied by the strings of illusion.
My mind locked by the belief of others.
My heart terrified from the holy fathers.

Perfection is the single way.
That is what I used to see.
Clinging to the chains I stay,
Wondering why can't I just be free?

The chains prevent me from falling down.
Tightining my view and making me drown.
I decide to slowly let go, hoping for the best.
Deciding to take my chances for the final test.

My feet slowly hit solid land.
Where is the firey grimstone?
Where is the land of the sad?

Suspended in the air, I was lost.
Fearing for my life and the aftercost.
Finally, I stand on a solid foundation.
Finally, I am my own creation.
